The Problem:

Recently, we were having problems with one of our Joomla K2 websites in that users could not comment onto K2 Items. The little loading icon would just keep going and going and going.

Sometimes, we were fortunate and received the following error:

access is denied mootools.js

The Solution:

k2 can not comment because of an issue with non-www URLs.

If a user visits our site with the following URL:  http://www.mysitename.com - problem does NOT occur

If a user visits our site with the following URL:  http://mysitename.com - then the mootools "Access Denied" problem occurs.

To fix you can simply install the following Joomla plugin to force non-www URLs to www URLs

Need to remove line breaks - also called carriage returns - from a copy and pasted Word document? Here's how

Today I copy and pasted text from a PDF document into Microsoft Word 2007, but it was formatted in a narrow column with only five or six words per line. Aghh! I thought I would have to manually go line by line in order to create normal paragraphs. But no!  Just follow these steps to quickly remove line breaks (or carriage returns) from a Word document:

1. Select "Replace" Button in the Editting Tab on the lefthand side of the Menu Bar (or use hotkey Ctrl + H to open Replace Box)
